Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by to look at my 1/12-scale animal sculptures!

For those of you who are new to my work - my goal is to create imaginative animal sculptures that look as if they could take breath. From miniature reproductions of personal pets to scale replicas of prize bulls, I've carved a world of animals. Most of the sculptures shown on the website are done in 1/12 scale, though I have ventured into larger pieces. I carve them out of wood, then fur and paint them. The inset eyes are made of glass or acrylic. Other details on the animals, such as tongues, are made of various other materials. I do no casting, so each animal is one of a kind with a personality of its own.

New!  For a quick overview of how the sculptures are made, click on The Sculptures.

All the pieces displayed in Gallery 1 and Gallery 2 are sold. The pieces in Gallery 3, however, will be new 1/12 scale work that is currently for sale. If you'd like to be notified by email when I put new pieces Gallery 3, contact me. Or check back often to see what new pieces I've added, and contact me if you are interested. In all galleries, click on the thumbnail pictures to enlarge them. Please note that while the animals are to scale, the photos are not.  If you'd like to see a quick overview of my work, click on Slideshow.

At this time, I am not planning on doing shows. If I schedule another show, I will be sure to put it on this website.

In the meantime, look for my sculptures in toy and miniatures museums around the world.

I'd love to hear from any of you who have one of my pieces! I've been doing them long enough that many have sold on the secondary market, and so I've lost track of them. If you have photos of my work that you wouldn't mind seeing on this site,  please send them on to me!  If I use them, I'll be sure to credit you.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Many thanks to all of you who have been loyal and patient friends throughout the years!
